The uncompromising character of a blank generation
Youth Grotesque Condensed Italic — 20 pt
Blistering youth, like twisted steel, like shattered glass, I know why the caged bird sings. A blurry future swallowed by a deafening hurricane. Night sweats, palms against your ears, screams from the void, blind in the dark.
Youth Grotesque Condensed Italic — 15 pt
Candle ends, an empty glow, the smell of glue and kerosene. You stretch across the horizon like a frayed haze. Ripe fruit meets rusty scissors, pink flesh pisses red. Fade to white, fading heat. Post-panic sunken eyes, your head ablaze. Your life stuck in your throat, your insides pouring out. Stop ou encore? Stop.
Youth Grotesque Condensed Italic — 12 pt
Fresh-faced since 2016, Youth Grotesque saw the light of day following an invitation by artist and curator Sebastien Pesot. This razor-edged family of seven weights was first developed as an artistic proposition for the project Dans un monde post : un événement post-punk. Sharp angles and hijacked historical references lend a bombastic individuality to the typeface. Now completely redrawn, its character set augmented with numerous stylistic alternates, Youth Grotesque definitely has the maturity needed to strike out on its own.
